hypoallergenic laundry sheets for washing pillow case

How Often Should I Wash My Pillow Case?

If you or someone in your family has sensitive skin, check this out.

Did you know that some acne problems are actually caused by laundry detergent?

And others by pillow cases?

According to Good Housekeeping*, you should wash your pillow case at least every 2 weeks.

If you’re prone to acne or breakouts, then wash or change your pillow case every 3 to 4 nights - or twice per week.

The reason is that bacteria can build up on your pillow case and cause acne breakouts.

Using a hypoallergenic laundry detergent will also help.

Definitely avoid detergents with harsh chemicals like parabens, phthalates and phosphates.

These chemicals can trigger irritation and allergic reactions in the skin, especially to sensitive or damaged skin.

Studies show that parabens can be especially inflammatory to people with pre-existing conditions of eczema, psoriasis, or contact dermatitis.

Instead, choose a laundry detergent that's hypoallergenic, eczema-friendly, and free from parabens, phthalates and phosphates - like Weightless Laundry Sheets.

Weightless Laundry Sheets are also easy-to-use, take up less space, and much better for the planet than pods, liquids and powder detergents - because there's no plastic container or wasted water.
